1	Explore the options and choose your preferred schools. Visit 4j.lane.edu/schools to learn more about 4J schools. For more information about 4J’s School Choice policy and events, please visit 4j.lane.edu/instruction/enrollment/schoolchoice.
2	Click on the Apply Now link above to complete a school choice application. You may choose from 1 to 3 schools. You must rank your choices (1,2,3) in the order of your preference. Once you’ve logged in to your dashboard and accepted a seat at one of your preferred schools, your student’s application will be withdrawn from your lower-ranked schools but will remain on the wait list for any higher-ranked schools.
3	Check your email and/or dashboard for offers and wait list updates. If you have not received an email, please check your email account’s spam/junk filter. It is highly recommended that you periodically log into your account at 4jschoolchoice.com/apply to check your dashboard for updates.

Eugene School District 4J has more than 30 schools, and every one offers an excellent education for our students.

Get to know us! We invite you to visit your neighborhood school and any other schools you're interested in before you submit a school choice request. Schools welcome parents to visit during two weeks in January and February.

Enrolling in your neighborhood school has many advantages; you may enroll your student there at any time. You also may request to have your child attend a different neighborhood school or one of the district's alternative schools. Families who live outside of the district also are welcome to apply to transfer to a 4J school.
